Integration of research findings in to practice is now a necessity as it provides the best scientific evidenced for practice, which help to improve the quality of patient care and outcomes. The study aimed at investigating the perception of bachelor nurses of the barriers and facilitators for implementing evidence-based nursing practice. A descriptive exploratory design was utilized. All bachelor nurses working at The New Kaser El-Aini Teaching Hospital were included; a total of 112 nurses returned the questionnaire, representing 86% response rate. More than half of the study nurses were not familiar with the term evidence-based practice. The organizational readiness to integrate EBP was 55.3%. The major barriers identified were inadequate facilities, lack of authority to change the patient care, insufficient time on the job to read or to implement the new ideas and unavailable research.
