The volume appears as part of the research project La macchina nel giardino di Poseidone initiated together with Gundula Rakowitz at the Dipartimento di Culture del progetto of the Università Iuav di Venezia.ANDREAS KREUL (*1961, Bottrop) studied art history, comparative literature, and German studies at the Ruhr University in Bochum. He is director of the Karin and Uwe Hollweg Foundation Collection in Bremen and honorary professor of art history at the University of Bremen.
